Door Hardware Basics covers the most important elements associated with door hardware. Participants will learn how to determine the correct hand of the door and discover its importance while installing or servicing door hardware. Participants will learn specific door hardware terminology and the importance of fasteners. The relationship between door hardware finishes and their base metals will be reviewed to ensure compliance with fire codes.
