This three-hour course, Overview of the Life Safety Codes – Module Two presents the numerous occupancy guidelines specific to building use based on the occupancy classification system developed Module One of this course. The occupancy sections of Module Two work together with the core guidelines of Module One to implement the fundamental requirements of the core guidelines, as appropriate to a specific use. The occupancy guidelines provide a complete road map to all applicable provisions in the core guidelines via the mandatory references and specific permissions contained in Module One. The information in this course discusses the essential requirements and recommendations needed to give a working knowledge to professionals in this field.
