Types of Fire Alarm and Signaling Systems will familiarize the participant with the various life safety systems and their requirements. This course will describe the purpose of life safety systems and ancillary functions that improve the chances of survival during a fire. The application of systems for industrial, commercial, and residential installations will be presented. Upon completion the participant will be able to identify the type of fire alarm and signaling system and the associated codes that dictate their installation and operation.
