Fundamentals of Access Control

This 1-hour online course is designed to provide security professionals with a foundational understanding of access control systems and their role in physical security. The course covers core system components, credential types, door hardware integration, power and locking concepts, and basic system operation. Participants will gain practical knowledge of how access control systems function as integrated systems, how components interact, and how proper installation and configuration support reliable and secure operation.
