Jim Hetchler
Jim has spent most of his life in the law enforcement and EMS fields. Jim then went
into the car Repo business for about 7 years. It was during that time he owned that
company that he learned some basic auto key generation, as well as going to a few
schools to learn how to make keys and open cars. After leaving the Repo business
he decided to try his hand at making car keys, and has become one of the most knowledgeable
assets in the Automotive Locksmithing business. Jim was asked to teach in just his
second year of the profession for Texas Locksmiths Association, and has been teaching
Automotive Locksmithing for over 11 years now. Through his passion for the profession
Jim is now traveling all over the United States to teach, and has established the
only dedicated website dedicated to Automotive Locksmithing Industry which now has
over 1200 members worldwide.

Jake Jakubuwski
Elite CEU has also partnered up with another industry legend, Jake Jakubuwski. Jake
is renowned for his numerous publications for the locksmith industry including topics

Jake Jakubuwski is a locksmith and physical security consultant with more then twenty
years field experience. Although no longer active as a locksmith, he is very active
as a freelance writer for various industry publications. In addition to authoring
seven (with more on the way) trade related books, Jake has written hundreds of technical
and security articles for magazines, newspapers and other media. He has functioned
as the technical editor of The National Locksmith Magazine for nearly fifteen years,
has served on the editorial board of Crime Prevention Magazine and The Door Hardware
Institute magazine and has been a contributing author to those magazines as well.
